PRODUCTION DEPOSIT

A Production Deposit is required to initiate the design process and reserve a production slot. The production deposit will be one-sixth of the logwork package estimate cost. All monies received are credited toward the total logwork package furnished by Alpine Log Homes.

ORDER AND ORDER
ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Once working drawings have been developed and the scope of Alpine’s involvement can be identified, we provide you with a Proposal/Purchase Order; this document formally spells out the scope, description, materials, reassembly, trucking, price, and payment terms for the project. At this time, we also provide you with an Order Acknowledgement; this document formally identifies the delivery date and conditions of the sale.

CRAFTING BEGINS
PAYMENT

The balance of one-third of the logwork package price is required to begin crafting. This balance payment reflects previously deposited monies. Once we commence construction, the average time to craft your home is ten to twelve weeks, depending on the size of the structure. We select your logs, individually, from our inventory of full-length house logs. Each log is hand peeled and your custom home is carefully handcrafted, one log at a time.

While we are crafting your log structure, you or your contractor will be preparing the building site, installing the foundation, and acquiring the finishing materials.

MIDPOINT OF
CRAFTING PAYMENT

An additional one-third of the logwork package price is required at the midpoint of crafting. 

The entire logwork portion of your home will be built on our log yard, and each log will be numbered to ensure that an expedient reassembly takes place when the home is delivered to your building site. 

CRAFTING COMPLETED
PAYMENT

The final one-third of the logwork package price is required when the crafting is completed. After your home has successfully passed our quality checks, it is ready for delivery. 

DELIVERY AND
REASSEMBLY

Alpine will coordinate the trucking details and an Alpine on-site advisor will assist with the reassembly of the logwork at your building site. Reassembly of the logwork on your foundation normally takes about one day per 1,000 square feet of building. 

FOLLOW-UP SERVICE

Following reassembly, your Alpine Construction Consultant is always available by telephone to answer any questions you or your contractor may have during finishing.
